Location
Rogers City is the jewel of Northern Michigan. It's a lovely community featuring many parks, lots of Lake Huron lakefront, trails, lighthouses, fishing, and more. The 9 mile long running/walking/biking trail that stretches from Harbor View at Calcite, along Lake Huron, to the 40 Mile Point lighthouse is located directly behind The Lake House on Lake Street. The city is brimming with maritime lore stemming from the Bradley Fleet of limestone carriers that called Rogers City and Calcite home for many years. It serves as a fitting home to two outstanding museums dedicated to those that sailed on those vessels: The Presque Isle Museum/Bradley House and the Great Lakes Maritime Museum. Calcite, the world's largest open pit Limestone Quarry is located in Rogers City and remains one of the busiest and most important deep-water ports on the Great Lakes. Calcite celebrates its 100th Anniversary in 2012.

Feel like having a day trip? Petoskey and Mackinac Island are just an hour away! And where else can you see beautiful summertime sunrises and sunsets over the lake?!

Steps to the beach!

The property borders both First St and Lake St, situated virtually on the lake. The only thing between the property and the lake is Lakeside Park (Swimming, Restaurant [seasonal], playground for the kids, beach, marina). It's located in the middle of the city -- walk to almost anything!
